Bush Tax Cuts

If I were the Democrats I would say that I had no problem extending the Bush tax cuts for high earners provided they were paid for. This would put the onus on Republicans to find spending to cut or other taxes to raise to maintain current rates. My two cents. If I were a Republican I would respond that an appropriate pay-for would a phase out of the state and local tax deduction.
